Film Review: Cloverfield

It’s basically a monster movie but from the helpless civilian point of view I liked the idea of this, but the headache inducing delivery was a little off putting. New York seems to be the only place they ever attack.

The acting had a feeling of improvisation and the camera man’s dialogue was pretty terrible some of the time. The usual slew of wrong decisions drove the plot and it got to the point I just didn’t care. Scenes of a partially destroyed city were interesting, not sure how the army got there so quickly but it was hard to care.

The camera work was so off-putting who would seriously film their friends drama when that was going on? It gets 0.5 for originality but the delivery was pretty bad
