Film Review: Quantum of Solace

Remember the best bits of Bourne Supremacy? Don’t worry you’ll see them again, except with some slightly taller doing the balcony jumping and the same shitty cameraman who can’t hold his fucking camera still!

Nothing stays still for long in this film and there isn’t very much in the way of subtlety. A lot of reviews have said watching the Bond is like “being punched in the face”. The plot is pretty much the as you’d expect, however the bad guys aren’t particularly menacing and are annoyingly french (the arrogant type)

Bond is actually the scary one, because he was betrayed and I’m guessing his balls still hurt (hence minimal shagging). You’ve probably watched a lot of chase films but you’re in for a following film in this one.

All in all it’s good fun to watch the grumpy bastard wandering around the globe but definitely not one of the best.
