Superhero films are very popular right now as I’m sure you’ve noticed. But that also means crap pseudo-superhero films which pigeon holes “Abilities” into convenient little holes are too, are we lucky. Categories of people include Pusher (Advanced Jedi Mind Trick), Movers (Jedi Telekinesis), Watcher (Jedi’s can’t do that very well) and Losers (the people who backed this Heroes rip-off).
You have probably all seen Heroes, well imagine that with a lot less variety, annoying camera angles and forgettable loud music. Oh and that moody little girl (Dakota Fanning) who always looks like she’s been seriously abused most of her life.
If you like Jumper then you will probably enjoy this one, there’s even a shadowy organisation called Division (everyone has one) who want to make themselves more powerful than they already are. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a lot of chemistry between the love interests and villians are particularly 2D with no clear motivation, other than being eeevil.
Yawn. Next. I mean no, that was crap too. Please don’t make a sequel.
